Man who Threatened Rep. Ilhan Omar Sentenced to Prison

A man who was arrested and charged for threatening Rep. Ilhan Omar has been sentenced to time in prison.

Patrick W. Carlineo, Jr., 56, of Addison, N.Y., has been sentenced to a year and one day in prison, federal prosecutors announced.

Carlineo Jr. pleaded guilty in November to threatening to assault and murder a U.S. official and being a convicted felon in possession of firearms. In March 2019, he called Omar’s office and left threatening voice messages.

“Why are you working for her, she’s a [expletive] terrorist. Somebody ought to put a bullet in her skull. Back in the day, our forefathers would have put a bullet in her [expletive],” an Omar staffer said at the time. “I’ll put a bullet in her [expletive] skull.”

Ilhan is part of a group of progressive Democratic congresswomen who President Trump nicknamed “The Squad.” The members of “The Squad” are all women of color, and he has made it his mission to marginalized at every turn.

In September, Omar accused Trump of putting her life at risk after the president retweeted a post that alleged that she partied on the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The claims made in the post were false.

“They have a responsibility and they set community standards and clearly the president has shown many-a-times that he has violated their community standards,” she told POLITICO. “I don’t even know why his account is not fully suspended — why he’s not deplatformed.”

Unfortunately, so due to the extremely low IQ of a group of Trumpers, they have adopted his more aggressive traits — out here believing that these actions will help to make America great again…
