Meagan Good’s husband, Jonathan Majors, opened up about the professional toll his legal battles have taken on her, admitting the actress faced significant career repercussions for publicly supporting him.

During Friday’s (June 28) interview on The Breakfast Club, the embattled actor revealed that Good’s loyalty cost her endorsements and opportunities as their relationship unfolded under intense scrutiny.

Majors, 34, and Good, 42, began dating in early 2023, shortly after the Creed III star was accused of assaulting his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, during a March 2023 altercation in New York City. The highly publicized case culminated in Majors’ December 2023 conviction for misdemeanor assault and harassment, resulting in a year-long counseling program but no jail time. Throughout the trial, Good stood by his side, attending court appearances and offering visible support, a move Majors now says impacted her career.

Speaking to The Breakfast Club hosts, Majors acknowledged the fallout.

“Did you ever feel through any of that, like, you were scared or nervous that like Megan would be like, ‘Yo, this is too much for me?'” asked Loren LoRosa.

“I told her from the jump, like, this is gonna be crazy. It’s gonna be wild,” Majors confessed.

“I mean, we’re in a relationship. Now we’re in a marriage. I’ll keep it straight. We have moments of, like, ‘Hey babe, it’s cool,’ you know what I mean? ‘I love you more than I can imagine, but you gotta, you know, this shit’s going down, you know? I’m Jack… You let go of me, and you go get it.’ That was a big thing, and she took so many hits… because of it,” he shared. “They weren’t announcing it, but like she lost endorsements. We got uninvited to stuff, she got uninvited to stuff because she had shown just how down she was, and they knew if Megan’s coming, J’s coming, you know, I’m coming.”

The lawsuit resulted in professional difficulties for Majors, as he lost multiple prominent films. Compounding the matter, a 2022 audio recording emerged, released by Rolling Stone on March 17, where Majors allegedly acknowledged assaulting Jabbari. Despite these obstacles, his recent film, Magazine Dreams, has been framed as a major chance for redemption and a way to restore his reputation and image.
