D.L. Hughley isn’t taking Mo’Nique’s latest critiques sitting down. He accused the actress of “constantly throwing the rock and hiding the hand.”
Former NFL player-turned-talk show host Shannon Sharpe has scored another explosive interview on his “how.
On the episode with Academy Award winner Mo’Nique, she dropped boMo’Nique on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast”, naming Oprah,” Tyler, Kevin Hart, and Taraji P. Henson.
She also discussed her deteriorated relationship with D.L. Hughley, explaining the origins of their beef.
Addressing Hughley as the one “King of Comedy” who missed a stray from Katt’s episode, Mo’Nique explained the confusion that stemmed from who was headlining an event in 2022.
She revisited how Hughley’s co-hosts disrespected her and her husband with a “Would You Rather Game.”
Mo’Nique revealed that she called DL directly (who was not present during the interview) after the show to address her issues with the game and his staff’s questions. Still, they couldn’t come to an agreement.
Shortly after her interview with Shannon Sharpe went live, DL Hughley took to his social media to clap back at Mo’Nique.
He uploaded a video on his Instagram with a few choice words for Mo’Nique.
“The reason LIES and FALSE NARRATIVES continue to go on and circulate is because they go unchecked. What you’re not gonna do is call me out my name and not get checked… MONIQUE IS A LIAR!” Hughley captioned the post.
“She is constantly throwing rocks and hiding her hand. You don’t get to tear people down and soften the blow by calling them “brotha… sista… sweet baby”. That’s NOT love, far from it. I’m sure Ike thought he “LOVED” Tina too! Apologize??” he continued. “I will NEVER FORGIVE OR FORGET the way you tried to manipulate my daughter’s trauma to fit your sick narrative. I don’t play when it comes to mine because ‘I LOVE MY FAMILY FOR REAL,’ AND THEY ACTUALLY LOVE ME BACK!!”
Mo’Nique is yet to respond to these allegations against her.
