Kenya Moore may just be the psychic of the group as she had earlier predicted that Nene Leakes would not return to RHOA because she “didn’t just burn a bridge, she blew it up.”
According to insiders who spoke to TMZ, Nene Leakes, the fan-favorite from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” will not come back for the upcoming season 16.
In April 2022, NeNe Leakes sued Bravo and NBC Universal over working conditions she felt she “wasn’t getting fair treatment”.
Before the lawsuit, the reality star had informed her fans that she was leaving “RHOA” on her own terms.
“I have made the hard and very difficult decision to not be a part of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 13. I have been on an extremely, extremely long, exhausting, tiring, emotional negotiation. There has been a lot of emotion flying on both sides,” Nene Leakes said in a video.
And now all NeNe Leakes fans’ hopes of her making a return to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” return are dashed because NeNe is not following in her BFF’s, Porsha Williams, footsteps.
According to the outlet, NeNe, 56, has not met with the RHOA producers nor started any talks with them.
Hopes rose further when she followed Bravo on Instagram in November 2023, implying she might be on good terms with them after the 2022 lawsuit, claiming the show’s producers accommodate a toxic work environment filled with racism.
But Kenya Moore, her “frenemy” on the show, revealed there’s zero chance that the Glee alum will return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
According to Moore, no one ever recovers from suing their bosses, and the Queen Bee (Nene Leakes) was no exception.
As of now, Porsha is the only person making a grand return for ‘RHOA’ season 16, having left the show in 2021 after nine seasons.
