Krystal Covington, widely known by her Pan-African name Al’Nuryah, is leading a powerful movement to reconnect the global African diaspora with the continent’s vast potential.
As co-founder of Shofar Business Consultants in Namibia, Covington is more than a business strategist — she’s a visionary redefining what it means to “come home.”
Through her consultancy firm, Covington helps investors, expatriates, and curious travelers navigate the often complex process of relocating or investing in Africa.
Her work aims to turn distant dreams into tangible, sustainable realities — from land ownership and business development to long-term settlement plans grounded in African prosperity and sovereignty.
“For me, the African dream is African ownership of Africa,” Covington declared in a video shared by @panafricanlifestyle on Instagram. “We already have what we need. We don’t need anything from anybody else. We need to learn to utilize what we have effectively — and we need our people to come home and help us restore this place to its glory.”
Covington’s passion is fueled by what she sees as a rising “diasporic tide,” a collective awakening across continents that recognizes both the right and the responsibility of the African diaspora to invest in the continent’s future.

Her mission is firmly rooted in Pan-African values — community, ownership, and empowerment — and it resonates with a growing number of Black professionals seeking a meaningful connection with Africa.
She also praised influential African leaders like Burkina Faso’s Ibrahim Traoré and Namibia’s Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah for pushing bold reforms aimed at reclaiming Africa’s resources and dignity.
“They’re trying to make their countries producing countries again,” Covington noted, emphasizing the need for economic independence and local prosperity.
As part of her educational outreach, Covington and Pan African Lifestyle offer Africa 101, a downloadable guide covering the basics of travel, relocation, and investment on the continent.
“Equip yourself with the knowledge you need to make informed choices,” she urged.
For those ready to explore the African dream, Covington’s message is simple: “Come home.”
