Is Porsha Williams making a Real Housewives of Atlanta comeback? Well, it appears maybe so after making an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.
Williams, who was cast in Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Thailand, said that fans may be in for a treat, although she would not confirm nor deny.
When asked by the show’s host, Andy Cohen, about the possibility of returning to the Bravo franchise she responded “I knew that would be the number one question,” adding that “I think you said break,” before Cohen clarified by stating, “I said pause.”
“That might be possible,” Williams said. “I’d say, never say never.”
The 41-year-old Atlanta native left RHOA after filming the show for nine seasons. If she did make a comeback, she would not be cast until Season 16 since Season 15 has already been taped and is expected to air next month.
Since leaving the reality show in Season 13, Williams has focused on her entrepreneurial journey as a restaurant co-owner, founder of a lingerie line and brand ambassador for a hair extension company. She would later come back to reality TV in a Bravo RHOA spinoff show called Porsha’s Family Matters, which chronicled her new life as a wife to husband Simon Guobadia and the mother to her 4-year-old daughter Pilar with Dennis McKinley. The network did not pick up the show for a second season.
Williams had remained relatively silent about wedding plans since revealing she became engaged to investor Simon Guobadia in May 2021.
“When the husband is husbanding…who gets turned on when a man does house work??” she questioned in a video of her man, who was fixing a kitchen cabinet door.
Her followers quickly began to speculate that Williams and Guobadia may have eloped, although neither party has yet to confirm the news. Williams did, however, reveal to Bravo they were planning three different weddings in different parts of the globe.
“We deserve to go all out,” said the reality star. “Like I want to experience every little thing there is about getting married, and so does he!”
Porsha wed famed football athlete Kordell Stewart in 2011 and filed for divorce two years later. She then became engaged to entrepreneur Dennis McKinley and gave birth to their first child, Pilar in 2019. Williams is the daughter of the late Hosea Williams, a civil rights activist and close friend of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Williams gained celebrity stardom when she was cast as a member of the hit reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After ten years on the show, she announced she was cutting ties with the franchise. “After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter,” she posted on Instagram. “Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise. This was a difficult decision to not only make but also come to terms with. It’s one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it’s the right one.”
