Tennis legend Serena Williams just proved she’s raising the next generation of beauty gurus, and the video evidence is too adorable to handle.
You know what they say: kids grow up so fast! And apparently, that includes their interest in all things glam! Serena Williams, the legendary tennis pro, recently shared the cutest peek into her home life, proving she’s just like any other mom – a canvas for her daughters’ budding artistic talents.
The 23-time Grand Slam champ shared a clip of her daughters, Olympia, 7, and Adira, 19 months, practicing their makeup skills on her face, and the results are equal parts hilarious and heartwarming.
In an adorable video posted to her Instagram, Serena, 43, gave us a front-row seat to a makeover session courtesy of her two adorable daughters, whom she shares with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. “Alright, I have my makeup artist here,” Serena playfully announces as little Adira expertly wields a makeup brush, applying concealer to her mom’s face. Seriously, for not even being two, that baby’s got technique.
But the glam squad didn’t stop there! Off-camera, little Olympia chimes in, “Perfect! Now let’s add some Elf blush!” The next thing we see is Olympia completely engrossed in her own makeup session, practicing her skills on a mannequin head with a Beauty Blender. “Olympia, you doing your makeup?” Serena asks, and the confident “Yeah” back is just too precious.
When Serena inquires how long Olympia has been into makeup, her reply is priceless: “Uh, since I was 3,” followed by a thoughtful, “Or 2.” And the reason behind her passion? “Because I wanted to be good like Mommy,” she sweetly replies, melting hearts everywhere.
Later in the video, the focus shifts back to Serena and her youngest, Adira, who is now tackling contouring with a stick. Ever the patient mom, Serena gently guides her daughter, showing her how to “pat” the product on. It’s these little moments of connection that are just so heartwarming to witness.
Serena’s caption perfectly encapsulates the joy of the moment: “Look at my girls!!!!! The way @adiraohanian handles that sponge, though! She’s not even 2 yet! I have loved makeup my entire life. It started young for me, and my girls are following my path… now if I could just get them to pick up a tennis racket…. @olympiaohanian @wyn.”

This isn’t the first time Serena has shared these sweet moments with her girls. Recently, the retired athlete teamed up with Olympia and Adira for a campaign with children’s clothing brand Janie & Jack, where the trio posed in adorable matching pink outfits. Serena told PEOPLE that having her girls in the campaign “was only right because this collection is all about family,” adding that Olympia had a blast expressing her style, and even little Adira enjoyed being part of it in her own way.
For Serena, creating that collection was about bonding with her daughters and creating joy for other families. “It’s really special to create something that families can share and make memories in,” she said. “Fashion is a way to express joy, and I love that this collection brings that to life.”
