Skai Jackson just gave fans what they’ve been waiting for: the first full-face photos of her adorable baby boy, Kasai!
The Jessie alum shared a heart-melting Instagram carousel on Friday (July 18), celebrating her son’s six-month milestone, and let’s just say… the internet is officially obsessed.
The 23-year-old actress, best known for her role on Disney’s Jessie, had the internet clutching their pearls (and ovaries) on Friday, July 18, when she finally shared her first-ever full-face photos of her baby boy, Kasai. The Instagram carousel post featured the 6-month-old looking cozy in blue and white striped overalls, flashing gummy grins while lounging with a fluffy gray dog and playing with toys.
In the caption, Skai simply wrote: “Kasai 💙 6 months.”
Fans immediately flooded the comments with heart-eye emojis, calling Kasai everything from “a whole Disney prince” to “an angel in overalls.” One user wrote, “The one with the pink ball, I CANNOT!!! An angel!!! 🥺💞👼🏽”, while another gushed, “He already looks like a Disney star 🌟”.

This marks the first time Skai has shown Kasai’s whole face, after teasing fans with emoji-covered snaps and playful videos for months. Back in June, she posted a mommy-son selfie but kept his face hidden. She also had fans cracking up with a clip of Kasai grabbing at her lips and trying to pick her nose.

But while the moment is all kinds of adorable, there’s also serious drama unfolding in the background.

Kasai’s father is Deondre Burgin, Skai’s ex-boyfriend. In May, Skai filed a restraining order against Burgin, alleging he violently assaulted her. According to the police report obtained by People, Burgin allegedly grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head into a car window, and punched her in the face.
And it didn’t stop there.
Just days before Kasai’s photo debut, Burgin was arrested by the FBI Task Force on July 14 for allegedly carjacking a woman in Cincinnati and pistol-whipping her in the head and face. He and an accomplice then fled across state lines into Kentucky, which prompted federal authorities to step in.
Despite the chaos surrounding her, Skai is staying strong and focused on her son.
