Political commentator Danielle Moodie took to Instagram to warn her followers about what she described as President Donald Trump’s broader strategy tied to Project 2025, a conservative policy blueprint spearheaded by allies of his administration.
In a video clip shared on her account (@deetwocents), Moodie alleged that Trump and his supporters are manufacturing “chaos” to justify authoritarian responses.
She suggested the approach could involve militarization, economic disruption, and even the possibility of declaring martial law ahead of key elections.
“When you manufacture chaos, when you torpedo the economy, what you’re waiting for is the revolutionary backlash to that so that then you can crack down with more militarization and right in time for midterm elections, declare martial law,” Moodie said in the video.
She also questioned Trump’s health, citing speculation about his appearance, and argued that conservative backers like venture capitalist Peter Thiel are positioning Vice President J.D. Vance as Trump’s successor. Moodie suggested that Vance, despite lacking broad popularity, remains strategically placed within the Republican movement because of his political ties.
The remarks have drawn attention as Trump’s controversial second term continues.
“Republicans don’t walk, they slither,” someone commented.
The Project 2025 initiative, backed by the Heritage Foundation and other conservative organizations, outlines a sweeping plan to reshape the federal government under a Trump administration.
Critics warn it could erode democratic institutions and expand executive power, while supporters say it is designed to streamline government and advance conservative policy goals.
Moodie’s video reflects the heightened political tension in the U.S. surrounding Trump’s current second term in office.
