Cardi B has revealed plans to undergo butt reduction surgery after wrapping her Little Miss Drama Tour, sharing the news during a backstage moment that quickly made its way online.

The Grammy-winning rapper, 33, told Kehlani she intends to reduce the size of her curves once the tour ends.

The conversation happened backstage in Los Angeles during the Little Miss Drama Tour when Kehlani commented on Cardi’s figure. “You have so much a–! That’s the most a– I’ve ever seen!” Kehlani said, playfully reacting while touching Cardi’s backside. Cardi responded candidly, saying she plans to make changes soon.

“After this tour, I’m taking some out,” said Cardi B, referring to the biopolymer injections, often called liquid silicone, that she began using at age 21 to enhance her curves. She added that once the tour concludes, she intends to step away from the spotlight for a while. “After this tour, I don’t wanna hear nobody for three months. I’m going to Colombia, nobody hit me up, nobody nothing. I’m taking this a– out!”

The exchange was captured on camera by radio personality Big Boy, who later shared the clip on Instagram, prompting widespread discussion among fans.

Cardi, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, has previously been open about her cosmetic procedures, and this will not be her first reduction surgery. Over the years, she has spoken publicly about undergoing enhancements early in her career. Her latest announcement continues that transparency, as she detailed plans to travel to Colombia for the procedure after completing the Little Miss Drama Tour.

While joking with Kehlani backstage, Cardi’s comments also reignited conversation about the risks associated with butt surgeries, particularly procedures involving fat transfers and injections. Such surgeries carry higher fatality rates compared to many other cosmetic procedures and can result in complications, including internal scarring, blocked blood vessels, fat tissue death, and severe infections. Even highly trained surgeons cannot guarantee complete safety, and many individuals seek procedures abroad due to lower costs.

For now, Cardi remains focused on finishing her tour before taking time away for recovery.
