Angel Reese, the rising WNBA star known for her bold style on and off the court, just scored a major win in the sneaker world.
The Reebok Angel Reese 1 officially debuted online and sold out within minutes, marking a milestone moment in both Reese’s career and Reebok’s resurgence in the basketball market.
Previewed at July’s WNBA All-Star Weekend, the Angel Reese 1 launched September 18 in three colorways — the “Mebounds,” the “Diamond Dust,” and the “Receipts Ready” — each priced at $120. Within moments, all three variations were completely sold out on Reebok’s website.
Reese, who took a leap by releasing three signature sneakers at once, was overwhelmed by the response. She celebrated the milestone on social media, expressing gratitude to fans and proudly declaring: “REEBOK IS BACK!”

Fans who missed out will have more chances to grab Reese’s sneakers. Reebok plans to release additional colorways later this year, including the “Charm City” in October to honor her Baltimore roots, followed by the “King Tiago,” named after her dog, and the “Giving Grace” collection in November.
The successful sneaker debut comes at the close of a challenging sophomore WNBA season for Reese with the Chicago Sky.
While her year included injuries, a suspension for technical fouls, and league penalties for public comments deemed “detrimental to the team,” she still showcased her individual talent and competitive drive.
Despite the frustrations of the season, Reese left fans with an optimistic message online, suggesting she’s focused on growth — both on the hardwood and in her expanding brand partnerships.
With the immediate success of the Angel Reese 1, she has firmly established herself not just as a basketball standout but also as a force in sports fashion.
