The NFL is delivering an incredible Christmas present to fans this year: Beyoncé, live and in action, headlining the halftime show of the highly anticipated Ravens-Texans game!
But there’s a twist—this legendary performance will also be available for streaming on Netflix, allowing fans around the globe to enjoy it.
Beyoncé’s performance at Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday will be available live on December 25 and is scheduled for the second of the two games that Netflix will broadcast, where the Houston Texans will take on the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium at 4:30 PM ET.
“Your early Christmas wish has been granted as Beyoncé will perform during Netflix’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday,” the streaming giant said in a press release. “This performance in her hometown of Houston, Texas, produced by her company, Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, will be the first live performance of songs from her genre-bending and record-breaking Cowboy Carter album. The 11-time Grammy-nominated juggernaut recently became the most nominated album by a female artist.”
Netflix made this announcement only a few days after organizing a widely covered boxing match between legendary boxer Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
The streaming platform also mentioned that specifics regarding her performance are “under wraps” but hinted that Beyoncé is “anticipated to include some special guests” from her recent “COWBOY CARTER” album.
In a vibrant video unveiled on Instagram late Sunday, Beyoncé captivates the audience as she stands atop a classic vintage car, clutching a football in one hand. With her powerful voice, she delivers an electrifying performance of “American Requiem,” the opening single from her latest album.
This will be the third NFL halftime show for Beyoncé, who previously performed at Super Bowls in 2013(in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was joined onstage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams ) and 2016 (when she joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars in Santa Clara, California).
However, it will be the first time Beyoncé has performed tracks from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, which she first revealed during February’s Super Bowl.
The album features collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Post Malone and embraces the country music style, serving as the second installment in a trilogy that began with Renaissance. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, it received a nomination for Album of the Year. Beyoncé was also nominated for an additional 10 awards, including Best Country Album and Song of the Year for Texas Hold ‘Em.
