Comedian Ms. Pat Opens Up About Being Fired From Radio, Points Finger At Co-Host Big Tigger

Comedian and actress Ms. Pat recently spoke out about her unexpected departure from V-103’s “The Big Tigger Morning Show,” pointing fingers at her co-host, Big Tigger, whom she labeled a “hater.”

Ms. Pat, known for her candid humor and role in BET+ sitcom “The Ms. Pat Show,” revealed details of her firing during an interview on The Breakfast Club this week.

The comedian, who co-hosted the morning show alongside Big Tigger and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shamea Morton for two years, expressed shock over her termination.

“I was blown away. I never thought I’d get fired from that job,” Ms. Pat disclosed to Charlamagne tha God. She had already made plans to leave the show by August 2023 but was let go before she could initiate her departure.

Ms. Pat attributed her firing to what she described as internal politics and alleged that Big Tigger played a pivotal role.

“That’s what happens when you work with a hater,” she remarked. When pressed by Charlamagne about who she was referring to, Ms. Pat didn’t mince words. “You know who the hater is … Tigger,” she asserted. “Tigger is the biggest [expletive] hater. You had a good show and you messed it up because of your ego … To me, it was jealousy.”

The comedian, aged 52, expressed her frustration with what she perceived as unprofessional behavior.

“I don’t have time to play games with you. You should have gotten fired a long time ago,” she said.

Despite the setback, Ms. Pat remained steadfast, noting:

“But keep your little show. I never needed it anyway.”

In a previous interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in November, Ms. Pat had fond words for her time at V-103, praising the network and her co-host Morton.

However, she notably omitted any mention of Big Tigger, hinting at underlying tensions that may have simmered during her tenure.

Ms. Pat’s departure from V-103 comes amidst her rising success with “The Ms. Pat Show” and other endeavors, highlighting her resilience and determination in the face of professional challenges.
