Social media influencer De’Jah Lanae, known for her association with MLB player Tim Anderson, took to social media to address her recent 30-day jail sentence.
According to the sentence was her decision to clear a child endangerment charge.
In a candid video recorded during her incarceration, De’Jah Lanae revealed she was offered two options: complete 300 hours of community service while retaining the child endangerment charge or serve 30 days in jail to have the charge removed.
She chose the latter, firmly denying any wrongdoing that could endanger her children.
“I ain’t never in my life put none of my kids in harm’s way,” she declared, defending her parenting decisions.
She further explained that the charge stemmed from an incident involving driving with a revoked license and fleeing from police, which she claims was motivated by fear.

The influencer explained that her decision was about protecting her reputation as a parent and ensuring her children would not face the stigma of a child endangerment label linked to her. She also took the opportunity to push back against critics:
“Don’t play with me and my parenting. Don’t play with my kids, period.”
