Rapper Finesse2tymes is facing some serious public criticism after his mother, Pluria Alexander, created a GoFundMe account, alleging that he cut off her financial support. Alexander, who says she is now facing eviction, is seeking $6,000 for moving expenses and claims her son’s “actions have left me homeless” for the third time.
In a heartbreaking description on her fundraising page, Alexander details her current struggles. She explains that her landlord gave her only days to pay rent or leave the property, a situation that arose after a “falling out” with her son. “Until recently, my son was helping me pay my bills,” she wrote. “But after a falling out, I’ve been left to manage everything on my own.”
This is not the first time Alexander has been in this situation. In her plea for help, she stated, “This is the third time my son’s actions have left me homeless, and each time it becomes harder to recover.” She also claims to be dealing with anxiety, depression, and what she calls “narcissistic abuse” from her son.
To make matters worse, Alexander says her ability to find new housing has been complicated by a money laundering charge she received in early 2024. She claims she was scammed by Nigerian fraudsters, and the case is still open. This charge has made it nearly impossible for her to secure housing, as she’s already been denied by three different apartments.

Because of that charge, Alexander says she’s been denied by three different apartments. “I don’t know anybody here to help me,” she explained, adding that before moving to Texas, she had her own place, her own car, and steady work in Memphis.
The funds she hopes to raise will be used for moving costs, transportation, and deposits for a new place. She hopes to find stable housing so she can rebuild and “focus on my health and well-being.”
Finesse2tymes has yet to publicly comment on the situation. The Shade Room, which shared a screenshot of Alexander’s GoFundMe plea, has since been flooded with reactions from people who are shocked and divided on the issue.
