Halle Bailey doesn’t play about her sister, Chloe Bailey, and when a “fan” decided to throw a little shade her sister’s way… Halle was quick to shut the negativity down.

The Chloe x Halle singers are beloved. Their fans love how fiercely protective they are of each other, and despite working on solo projects, they regularly express their love for one another.
“She is overseas killing it and I’m just so proud of her,” Chloe told Entertainment Tonight on the BET Awards 2021 red carpet. “She’s doing her thing over there and I’m doing my thing over here and I can’t wait to come back together.”
They regularly Facetime when they are apart. “She is so beautiful every time we FaceTime, I get chills. She will always be my little mermaid.”
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the siblings talked more about what life is like for them when they are working apart.
“I’m the little sister, so I’ve always looked to her as a guide, the one who will go through it first and then be like, “Come on, Halle, it’s safe.” So with her not around, it is very like, “Oh my goodness, I have to do this on my own.” But knowing she’s always there for me, I just call her when I’m feeling overwhelmed.”
Chloe adds, “She amazes me every single day, even seeing from FaceTime how she’s flourishing out there in London. As the big sister, I feel like mama bear No. 2 sometimes, I just want to be protective of her and I don’t want her to feel stress or pain or anything. But it’s incredible to see how she’s pushing through it. She’s growing and thriving and coming out even stronger.”
