Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is lending a helping hand to those affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.

The 58-year-old took to Instagram to announce that she is donating her “entire closet” to support victims who have lost their homes and belongings in the flames.

The Academy Award-winning actress is collaborating with fellow actress Sharon Stone in this heartfelt initiative, ensuring that those in need have access to bare essentials such as clothing and blankets. The actress shared an emotional video showing the donation process, giving fans a glimpse into her generous contribution.

The video, posted to Instagram, begins with Berry showing the donation drive set up at COOP, a small home goods store in Beverly Hills. In the footage, Berry walks into the store, revealing rows of organized items—clothing, blankets, and other essential goods—all ready to be distributed to those affected by the wildfires.

“I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP! If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same,” the Catwoman star wrote.

“This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today!”

Also in her caption, Berry praised movie star Sharon Stone for setting an example, adding: “Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you, Lady.”

The Academy Award-winning actress first revealed the visibility of smoke from the fires reaching Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 8. She shared an Instagram photo that showed the gray smoke shrouding the entire sky above Hollywood.

“This is from my hood. Look at the sky. That is smoke, not clouds, from a fire that has consumed over 2,900 acres and remains uncontained,” Berry wrote. “It’s left so many homes and buildings without power and killed at least two people, with more left with significant injuries.”

Wildfires that have spiraled out of control have been ravaging communities in LA for several days, resulting in a death toll of at least 10 people and leaving hundreds of structures utterly irreparable.
