Megan Thee Stallion has addressed people who are “fake mad” over Kamala Harris’s rally performance in Atlanta.

On Tuesday, July 30, the Grammy-winning rapper delivered an electrifying show at the Georgia State Convocation Center, rallying support for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

Before her performance, Megan announced on her Instagram that she was traveling to the South to deliver a spectacular performance starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.
In the caption that accompanied the news, she wrote, “ATL HOTTIES SEE YOU TOMORROW .”

The Houston rapper took the stage and performed censored and modified versions of her latest hit record, “Mamushi,” as well as versions of “Savage,” “Girls in the Hood,” and “Body.” She was dressed in a perfectly tailored blue suit with a cropped blazer.

However, not everyone was thrilled with Megan’s appearance at the political event.

Conservatives attacked the event with signs reading “H*es for Harris, Hoodrats for Harris, Single Black Momalas for Kamala, White Dudes for Harris,” calling the appearance “pure ghetto trash,” according to Rolling Stone.

Others criticized the performance, calling Megan Thee Statllion’s show unprofessional and “tasteless” and saying it seemed to pander to
voters.

The Houston rapper didn’t seem fazed by the backlash. Yesterday, she addressed the brouhaha at Lollapalooza. In a clip taken from her performance, Megan insisted that she has no intention of changing her ways in response to criticism.

The “Savage” rapper made fun of her critics during her performance, calling them “fake mad that I was popping it for Kamala,” adding, “I don’t think they heard what she said.”

“They was big mad that I was poppin’ it for Kamala,” reaffirming her support for Harris.

Megan echoed Harris’ messages, emphasizing, “Kamala said she wants a ceasefire (in Gaza). Kamala said she supports women’s rights. Kamala said she’s tired of these high a— gas prices. Kamala said I’m for the people,” ending with a spirited declaration: “Hotties For Harris!”

Megan Thee Stallion’s fearless response to her critics is a testament to her strength and resilience. This won’t be the first time that Megan would have dealt with Kamala Harris. In March 2023, Harris and Glamour co-hosted a brunch at her Washington, DC, home to commemorate Women’s History Month. Megan shared photos of herself and Harris arm-in-arm on her social media accounts.
