Oprah Winfrey wants to make one thing crystal clear: she has never attended a Diddy party — not even once.
During a packed fireside chat at the Good Soil Forum in Dallas, hosted by Bishop T.D. Jakes, the media titan took the stage to speak on faith, entrepreneurship, and navigating public scrutiny in the digital age.
As part of the wide-ranging conversation, Winfrey directly addressed circulating rumors and AI-generated images that falsely place her at parties hosted by embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“First of all, I have never been near a Puff party,” Winfrey said emphatically. “Anybody who knows me knows — if there is a party, I am the first one out. That is not who I am. I like to sit at home with my thoughts by the fire, with the dogs.”

Winfrey, who once dominated daytime television before launching her OWN network in 2011, shared that she has unsuccessfully tried to get YouTube to remove AI-generated nude images of her with Combs, calling the situation troubling and invasive. She warned that artificial intelligence, while powerful, poses real threats when misused.
T.D. Jakes, a globally renowned faith leader and founder of The Potter’s House, backed her up. He clarified that his only encounter with Combs was a brief 30-minute stop-by to say “happy birthday” — in broad daylight, surrounded by staff.
“I am almost 70 years old. What do I look like?” he quipped. “But that is the kind of world we are living in.”

Both Winfrey and Jakes used the moment to underline the dangers of misinformation and digital manipulation, pointing out the need for discernment and spiritual grounding in a fast-moving, AI-driven world.
Held at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, the Good Soil Forum welcomed over 2,000 attendees for a three-day experience centered on faith and minority business growth. The conference featured dynamic speakers and a $500,000 Seed Capital Pitch Competition presented by Wells Fargo. During her session, Winfrey credited her spiritual upbringing and deep alignment with divine guidance for her decades-long success.
“Every decision that I have ever made that has led to any sort of success… has come from sitting with the spirit and asking God, ‘What would you have me do first?’” she said. “Every time I’ve struggled, it’s because I led with my own mind — not God’s.”
Winfrey also opened up about her regrets when launching OWN, admitting she moved too fast out of pressure and not purpose. Her message to entrepreneurs in the room was to slow down, seek alignment, and act with intention.
The fireside chat closed with another standing ovation — the second of the night — and a final reminder from Oprah: “You’ve got to plant in good soil to get the harvest you deserve.”
