Days before the Met Gala on May 6, which has a “Garden of Time” theme and is hosted by Anna Wintour with cochairs Bad Bunny, Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, and Chris Hemsworth, Rihanna revealed a bubblegum pink color, bidding farewell to her blonde bombshell hair.
On May 4, while Rihanna was in Miami for boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s new Puma pop-up shop, she unveiled an unexpected bubblegum pink hair transformation.
The “Lift Me Up” singer wore an asymmetrical black dress with a thigh-high slit and a corset bodice that tightened the waist, making it evident that she wanted her new hair color to be the main attraction.
The 36-year-old “Umbrella” singer hinted before Met Monday that her vibe would be “real simple.”
“Really, like chill. I know you think I’m lying—it’s chill. I’m a mom. I don’t got time for a lot of s–t,” Rihanna disclosed.
However, she did confirm her participation during her interview with E! at Fenty Beauty’s Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation launch on April 26.
“I’m coming in as an extra this year. I’m coming for dinner,” the singer told the media outlet’s Francesca Amiker.
