Pinky Cole Hayes, the founder of Slutty Vegan, is spreading joy and generosity by sponsoring a fully covered prom for students at Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta.

The Pinky Cole Foundation, founded by Cole Hayes, has graciously offered to cover all expenses for the prom, including attire, catering, decorations, entertainment, and souvenirs.

The announcement of this heartwarming donation was made by Cole Hayes herself during a special event at the high school on Monday, April 22, just days before the prom on April 27. She presented a check for more than $10,000

Reflecting on her own fond memories of prom, Cole Hayes emphasized the importance of creating lasting experiences for young people in the community.

“I was the prom queen at my high school, and I cherish the memories I created at my prom,” said Cole Hayes. “It is important for me to support my community by helping people have experiences that will impact them for the rest of their lives, and I hope that my contribution does just that.”

Dr. Lizzette Kenly, the ELA Department chairperson and Prom Coordinator at Mays High School, expressed deep gratitude for the generous sponsorship from The Pinky Cole Foundation and Slutty Vegan.

“Gratitude is the fairest blossom that springs from the soul. We extend our deepest appreciation to The Pinky Cole Foundation and Slutty Vegan for their generous sponsorship of the Benjamin Elijah Mays 2024 prom,” said Dr. Kenly.

The Pinky Cole Foundation, based in Atlanta, is dedicated to giving back to the Black community through various initiatives aimed at empowering young people of color.

Since its inception in 2019, the foundation has provided financial support to amplify entrepreneurial pursuits, combat poverty, and promote financial literacy.

Cole Hayes’ philanthropic endeavors extend beyond the foundation, including launching PETA’s Push for Food Justice, providing life insurance policies to 25,000 Black men, assisting local businesses in need with rent payments, and covering the full tuition of 30 students at Clark Atlanta University.
