Taraji P. Henson has recruited Emmy-winning producer Jamila Jordan-Theus to lead development and production at her company, TPH Entertainment.
Jordan-Theus will spearhead scripted series, features, and unscripted content, amplifying the company’s mission to highlight diverse voices in entertainment.
Henson, who founded TPH Entertainment in 2020, expressed her excitement about the new hire:

Jordan-Theus, known for her work on Ink Master and Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street, is equally enthusiastic.

The new appointment comes at a key moment for TPH Entertainment as the company works on an overall deal with BET Studios.
Notable upcoming projects include Moorewood Family Rules, a series adaptation of HelenKay Dimon’s novel, with Henson set to star and executive produce alongside director Justin Simien.
Jordan-Theus brings a wealth of experience from her roles at Marsai Martin’s Genius Entertainment, The SpringHill Company, and Sirens Media/ITV Studios. Her credits include Fantasy Football, Turning The Tables with Robin Roberts, Best Shot, 7 Days Out, and CNN’s Dreamland: The Rise and Fall of Black Wall Street.
With this collaboration, TPH Entertainment is poised to continue delivering culturally rich and socially impactful stories that challenge the status quo.
