Texas Woman Declared Missing Sets Records Straight: ‘I Am Not Missing…I Fled Willingly From A Wicked Family Structure’

by Gee NY

A Texas woman whose family reported her missing has resurfaced in Scotland, issuing a fiery video message that rejects both her relatives’ concerns and the intervention of authorities.

Kaura Taylor, who now goes by the name Asnat, is living as a handmaiden within the self-declared Kingdom of Kubala, a small spiritual group led by King Atehene and Queen Nandi in the Scottish Borders.

In her statement posted on Queen Nandi’s Facebook page, Taylor claimed she left the United States voluntarily, describing her family as “oppressive,” “toxic,” and even “wicked.”

She accused her mother of relinquishing custody of her to an alleged abuser and dismissed the idea that relatives were genuinely worried about her well-being.

“For starters, if you are watching this, obviously I am not missing. I fled willingly from a very oppressive, a very abusive, very toxic and utterly wicked family structure,” Taylor said.

Addressing authorities directly, she declared:

“To the UK authorities, again, obviously, I am not missing. Leave me alone. I am an adult. I am not a helpless child. I am well in my rights, and I do have the mental and physical capacity to know and make the best decisions for myself.”

Taylor also tied her situation to the spiritual mission of the Kingdom of Kubala, which claims to be a lost Hebrew tribe resisting modern legal systems.

She referred to herself as part of a prophetic journey and told critics not to be “frightened” by her choices.

The Kingdom of Kubala, founded by Atehene (real name Kofi Offeh, a former opera singer from Ghana) and his wife Jean Gasho (Queen Nandi, originally from Zimbabwe), rejects British law and claims a biblical right to the land.

The group has clashed with local authorities after being evicted from council property and facing hostility from nearby residents.

The timeline of Taylor’s departure from Texas remains unclear, as does the exact moment her family filed a missing person report.

For now, Taylor insists she has found a “real family” in Kubala and warned her critics of divine consequences:

“Continue to mock me and my beliefs, the culture that I have found and created here with a real family. All of you are destined for the vengeance of Yehowah.”

Authorities in Scotland have said they are monitoring the situation in coordination with Police Scotland.
