In a now-viral TikTok video, UK-based content creator Kim is sounding the alarm over new travel advisories warning British tourists against visiting the United States.
Citing recent changes in U.S. immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, Kim expressed growing concerns about the heightened risks for foreign visitors, calling it an unprecedented move by the UK government.
“It is literally now or never,” Kim warns in the video, which has garnered thousands of views and shares across social media. “The United Kingdom has now officially warned their citizens to not travel to the United States, and if we do, to be prepared for the heightened risk posed by the border and the new Trump administration.”
According to recent reports, the UK updated its foreign travel advice on March 15, warning British travelers to comply strictly with U.S. authorities or risk arrest or detention.
This marks a stark shift from earlier guidance, which made no mention of such extreme consequences. Germany’s Federal Foreign Office has also revised its advisory, cautioning that even travelers with valid visas could be denied entry without legal recourse.
Kim connects these developments to broader geopolitical concerns, referencing Trump’s recent foreign policy stance toward Russia.
“This comes weeks after Trump has basically appeased Putin and agreed to be a bystander to the invasion of Ukraine,” Kim notes. “He’s isolating America. How does nobody see that?”
Adding to the alarm, Kim claims that U.S. border officials are reportedly scrutinizing travelers’ personal devices for anti-Trump sentiments.
“They will confiscate your phone at the border, and if you have anything negative about Trump, they will literally ban you from the USA,” she asserts.
With the Biden administration’s immigration policies now reversed and Trump’s second-term approach in full effect, border control measures have grown increasingly strict.
Reports have surfaced of British, German, and other European tourists being detained for extended periods upon arrival in the U.S., leading many to rethink travel plans.
Kim sends a clear to Americans, stressing this is a moment of reckoning for them:
“If you’re an American watching, you really have to have the fight in your belly right now because it is truly now or never. I literally cannot say that any louder.”
