Is Cardi B officially done with NFL star Stefon Diggs?! The two only went Instagram official on June 1, and many believe their whirlwind romance has hit a major wall.
One minute they’re posting yacht pics hotter than July, the next? Poof! All traces of each other vanish. Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs had fans in a chokehold with their whirlwind romance, but now the internet’s convinced it’s already over.
Fans are in full investigation mode after noticing a suspicious wipe-out of all things Diggs from Cardi B’s page.
Back on June 1, the internet couldn’t get enough of Cardi and Stefon’s soft-launch summer romance. From yacht photos to steamy hot tub clips, the “Up” rapper and the New England Patriots wide receiver were giving luxury, vibes, and a whole lot of PDA. But fast-forward to now, and Cardi has deleted every trace of him from her Instagram.
Diggs didn’t stay quiet either. He deleted his June 16 photo dump, which featured Cardi front and center, although he left up an earlier post from May that still includes her.
Of course, fans were quick to notice the change. “Damn, Diggs gone already?” one follower wrote. Another asked the million-dollar question: “Took down the pics with Diggs but not Offset? You still love that man.”
Cardi B hasn’t said a word about the breakup rumors, but she did post a Story showing her looking exhausted in a bathrobe while getting glammed up, captioning it, “sooo tired.” It was giving a heartbreak hangover, or maybe just tour life exhaustion, but either way, folks are reading between the lines.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Diggs allegedly went all out for Cardi, reportedly renting the luxurious Château de Farcheville in Paris for the rapper during a romantic getaway. At the time, it had “black love fairytale” written all over it. However, behind the scenes, reports suggest that Cardi was already confronting Diggs over his flirtatious behavior, particularly at a yacht party where other women were allegedly in the mix.
And while Stefon Diggs has been laying low, he’s got football on his mind. The wide receiver recently signed a $69 million, four-year deal with the Patriots and is expected to be a key piece of the offense alongside rookie QB Drake Maye. He’s due back at training camp on July 23.
So, did Cardi finally decide she wasn’t with the shenanigans? Or is this just a social media cooldown?
