A 29-year-old woman from Brooklyn, Brittney Scott, has been arrested in Miami after being linked to a series of high-profile thefts involving luxury watches and credit cards from men she allegedly targeted during nights out in Miami Beach.
Scott was taken into custody on Tuesday, May 6, near NW 7th Avenue and 81st Street, according to police. She is facing multiple felony charges, including burglary with assault or battery and grand theft, stemming from three separate incidents between June 2023 and November 2024.
Pattern of Theft: Drinks, Distraction, and Disappearance
The first known incident occurred on June 17, 2023, when a man met Scott at a Miami Beach bar and later invited her back to his apartment.
After having drinks, the man passed out and woke up to find his $14,000 Rolex and credit cards missing. Authorities say a photo he had taken of Scott was run through facial recognition technology and later used in a photo lineup, leading to her identification.

On October 20, 2024, a second victim reported meeting Scott at the Saxony Bar in South Beach. After bringing her home, he suffered a head injury from a wine bottle and later discovered his Rolex, wallet, and credit cards stolen. Surveillance video allegedly captured Scott using the stolen cards at Sawgrass Mills Mall.
In a third case on Nov. 9, 2024, another man reported the theft of his $13,000 Rolex and a $1,400 iPhone after a night out with Scott. He also identified her in a police photo lineup.
Arrest and Investigation
Scott was arrested without incident and reportedly told investigators during a recorded interview that she did not recall the events.
She remains in custody at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, with bond yet to be set.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, and additional victims may exist. The City of Miami Police Department urges anyone with information related to these cases to come forward.
