Entertainer and business magnate Rihanna has just made the list of the world’s richest billionaires.
On a Forbes list released Tuesday, the Bajan musician made the list alongside Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk. The mother of one, who founded and runs Fenty Beauty, took the 2,002 spot and has a valued net worth of $1.4 billion.
Roc Nation executive Jay-Z tops Rihanna on the list with a valued net worth of $2.5 billion. He was placed 1,217 on the list, and reality star Kim Kardashian’s wealth has been priced at $1.2 billion. She took the list’s 2,259 spot.
LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, 74, dethroned Elon Musk, 51, as the world’s richest person alive. The fashion tycoon raked in $211 billion by leading the luxury company’s global brands, including, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Tiffany’s, Sephora and Fenty Beauty.
According to Forbes, most of Rihanna’s wealth is thanks to her cosmetics company, which doubled its revenue in 2022. She also has a 30% stake in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which brought in $1 billion in revenue in 2021.
Outside of business, the 35-year-old still dabbles with entertainment. She most recently headlined the Super Bowl LVII halftime show and released her first new music in five years for the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her song Lift Me Up was nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song.
The Bajan beauty is currently expecting her second child with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky.
“We’re best friends with a baby,” she said of her relationship with A$AP, born Rakim Mayers, who is also of Bajan descent. “We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer. I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together. I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’ Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”
