Reality TV star Blac Chyna is officially engaged! The socialite and model said “yes” to her boyfriend, Derrick Milano, after a year of dating.
On Monday, May 27, Blac Chyna, who now goes by her birth name Angela White, posted adorable photos and videos of the couple on Instagram from the previous year to celebrate one year with rapper Derrick Milano.
“Happy 1 year anniversary @derrickmilano. 🙏🏽❤️ Reflecting on a year of pure magic and joy with you, my dearest Derrick,” White wrote in the caption.
The couple formally announced their relationship on Instagram in September 2023. Derrick wrote “Mine” in response to Blac’s Instagram photo of him and her. Following this revelation, Blac Chyna and her boyfriend Derrick attended their first Annual Future Stars Basketball Camp Charity Dinner Gala together on October 25, 2023.
Blac Chyna’s romance with Milano drew attention, as the reveal coincided with the model’s personal transformation, including reversing her cosmetic surgery, ditching alcohol, and adopting a fitness regime amid a renewed spiritual direction.
During Howard University’s Homecoming festivities on Friday, Derrick Milano surprised Blac Chyna with an engagement proposal.
While on stage in front of hundreds of attendees at the annual Yardfest, Milano, who has worked with industry heavyweights such as Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion, proposed to the influencer.
In the clip, Milano drops on one knee in front of the packed crowd as he pulls out a large box with a ring.
“Will you marry me?” the rapper asked as the crowd cheered him on.
Blac Chyna, who was on stage performing her new song, “Fabulous,” was stunned as she quickly fought back tears at the sweet gesture. Chyna, who wore a black trench coat with boots and long, blue hair, answered with a quick yes before kissing her new fiancé, which DJ Quick Silva captured and shared on Instagram.
DJ Quick Silva wrote in the caption, “Only @howard1867 #YardFest can make MAGIC happen like this. My guy @derrickmilano just popped the BIG question to the HomeTeam @blacchyna.”
In the video, Chyna can be seen wiping away her tears while Derrick whispers something in her ear. He then put the ring on her finger, which she proudly displayed to the Howard University crowd.
It looks like Blac Chyna is ready for her happily ever after!
