Masika Kalysha just threw a major jab at Brittany Renner, accusing her of using Islam after her recent stint as a muslim and subsequent removal of her hijab.
The timeline is on fire, and this time it’s Brittany Renner and Masika Kalysha locked in a messy war of words with religion, exes, and hijabs all in the mix.
It all started when Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood alum Masika Kalysha decided to come for Brittany Renner unprovoked… or so it seemed. While giving her two cents on the latest Basketball Wives LA drama between Jackie and Chantel Christie, Masika randomly veered left and threw Brittany’s name in the mix. She accused Brittany of “playing” with Islam and using the religion to secure a man.
“Since we’re on the topic…” Masika wrote in a now-viral post, “The way Britney played with those people’s religion to become that man’s other wife is crazy. He took off, and she took off those people’s clothes.”
While reacting to Kalysha’s remarks, Renner mentioned her fellow reality star’s controversy, which includes Masika being the third “baby mama” of rapper Fetty Wap and reportedly staging a kidnapping.
“Says BM #3, who faked a kidnapping to promote their irrelevant OF. Since we’re on the topic…religion is not exclusive, I never signed up to be one of several, people are allowed to change their minds, & plenty of relationships are meant to be but not meant to last. Bye, 40 and fried!”
Masika doubled down, replying directly to Renner:
“Girl, go to hell! Oh wait… EVERYBODY speaking the SAME TRUTH about you. But you mad at me? Lol, bringing up irrelevant deflections doesn’t change the fact that YOU PLAYED WITH GOD FOR D**K! Next week, you’re going to be Buddhist for back shots? Christian for Christian Dior? Girl, stfu & go pray.”
The internet couldn’t even keep up with the dragging.
For some context. Brittany Renner announced her conversion to Islam back in January 2025. However, she revealed that she had taken her Shahada in August 2024. Around that time, she was publicly involved with rapper Kevin Gates, who is a practicing Muslim. Many assumed the two had tied the knot, or at least entered some form of religious union.
But fast forward a few months, and Brittany was back outside. The hijab came off, the photoshoots returned, and the “soft life” energy took over her feed. After splitting from Kevin Gates in June, Brittany has since returned to her usual social media persona: glamorous, free-spirited, unfiltered, and almost naked.
