Rapper Sukihana’s pregnancy announcement has sparked excitement among fans while also igniting widespread online speculation about the father of her fourth child.
The former Love & Hip Hop: Miami star, 34, recently revealed she is expecting another baby, but conversations on social media quickly shifted toward one question circulating among fans: Is Ray J the father?
Sukihana shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE, confirming she is currently in her second trimester and describing the baby as a blessing. The rapper said she is “really excited” about welcoming another child and spoke about how meaningful the moment feels in her life.
The reality television personality explained that she intentionally kept the pregnancy private for some time before making the announcement public. According to Sukihana, she wanted to protect both herself and her unborn child during the early stages of her pregnancy.
“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love,” she said, explaining that she chose to wait before sharing the news. Sukihana added that she wanted to ensure the baby was healthy and developing well before opening up about the pregnancy.
“I wanted to protect myself and my baby, and I wanted to make sure my baby was fully developed and healthy before I let anybody know about what was so sacred to me,” she told the outlet.
Shortly after the announcement circulated online, social media users began speculating about the identity of the baby’s father. Some fans suggested that singer and television personality Ray J could be involved, though Sukihana has not publicly confirmed the father of her fourth child.
The speculation stems in part from the public drama surrounding Sukihana and Ray J in recent years. The two were previously linked through an alleged romantic relationship that generated headlines and social media debate throughout late 2024 and into 2025.
During that period, Sukihana publicly claimed that Ray J was in love with her and had spent millions of dollars on her. Their connection also became part of an ongoing online dispute involving Ray J’s estranged wife, Princess Love.
Princess Love added fuel to the situation when she shared what she described as “freaky” text messages allegedly exchanged between herself and Sukihana. The messages circulated online and triggered a back-and-forth among those involved.
The situation escalated further when Ray J publicly clashed with Sukihana’s then-boyfriend, a man named Snoop, over a chain that Ray J claimed he had gifted to the rapper.
Meanwhile, Ray J’s marriage to Princess Love was also facing continued strain. In February 2024, Princess Love announced that she had filed for divorce from the singer for the fourth time, stating that they had ultimately decided to go their separate ways.
“After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways,” Princess Love wrote in a statement shared on Instagram.
Ray J and Princess Love married in 2016 after dating for four years and share two children together.
As speculation continues online following Sukihana’s pregnancy announcement, the rapper has not publicly addressed the rumors about the father of her fourth baby.
