Nicki Minaj faces a reported $275K lawsuit tied to her Pink Friday 2 tour, placing the rap superstar at the center of a legal dispute that has quickly gained attention across social media and the entertainment industry.

According to court filings, a production company, 24/7 Productions, claims that Nicki Minaj and her company, Pink Friday Productions, failed to pay for services connected to her 2023 performances. The lawsuit was filed on March 23, 2026, in the Los Angeles Superior Court and alleges breach of contract along with other claims.

The company says its involvement began in late 2023, when Nicki’s team needed support for her iHeartRadio Jingle Ball performances as well as the rollout for her Pink Friday 2 era. The work included planning, on-site management, staffing, audio and lighting, rigging, ground transportation, and overall event logistics. According to the suit, 24/7 Productions submitted budgets that were approved before the work started.

The filing states that the production company covered more than $275,000 in upfront costs with the understanding that Pink Friday Productions would reimburse those expenses. It also notes that Nicki’s company received approximately $650,000 for the Jingle Ball dates, yet the production expenses were never paid back.

The dispute is not related to ticket refunds or canceled shows, but rather a business arrangement between both parties. The production company claims it attempted to collect payment over time, receiving repeated responses that the issue would be reviewed, but no full settlement was reached.

This was not the first time the two sides worked together. In 2022, 24/7 Productions provided services for Nicki during her MTV Video Music Awards appearance, and that collaboration reportedly went smoothly. That earlier success likely led to their partnership during the busy lead-up to Pink Friday 2, which was released in December 2023.

The album marked a major moment for Nicki, with fans filling arenas for her tour dates and promotional appearances. The Jingle Ball performances, in particular, served as key stops during that rollout, drawing significant attention and adding to the momentum of the project.

As news of the lawsuit spread, reactions quickly followed online. The Barbz, voiced support for Nicki and pointed out that lawsuits can sometimes be resolved privately or appear differently as more information comes out.

Adding another layer to the conversation, Alex Bruesewitz, a close political associate of Nicki, addressed the claims on X, calling the report false and referring to it as a “TMZ lie.” His comments further fueled discussion, though Nicki Minaj herself has not made a public statement regarding the allegations.
