Chrisean Rock may be facing jail time as she faces a lawsuit for attacking and breaking James Wright Chanel’s nose!
Last year, the rapper was accused of violently attacking TV personality James Wright, who claims Rock was wearing ‘large champion style rings’ when she hit him.
According to legal documents, James Wright sues Chrisean for attacking him at a club show in November 2023. TMZ reports that Wright alleged that the incident led to multiple facial lacerations and two broken teeth.
James Wright, who was a backup singer at Tamar Barxton’s concert at the scene of the incident, says the Vibe hitmaker also used a homophobic slur towards him.
He was reportedly hospitalized following the scuffle at the concert in Downtown Los Angeles.
Before this lawsuit, Tamar Braxton’s best friend, LeTroy, had vowed to have Chrisean Rock arrested for breaking James Wright Chanel’s nose.
In his video, LeTroy said, “James was at the hospital because his nose won’t stop bleeding.”
Tamar Braxton also jumped, confirming the altercation and explaining what had transpired during an IG Live. According to the famed singer, the mother of one thought she was supposed to perform on stage and became agitated when she was told that wasn’t the case.
Shortly after Braxton’s informal statement, Chrisean Rock blew a string of obscenities at her. She accused the “Love & War” singer of taking advantage of her and using her for fame.
Christian also logged out of social media for a while as the news died, but James has struck back with a lawsuit.
His suit states that he had to see a dentist and plastic surgeon after the alleged incident. And asking the law to compel Chrisean to compensate him for his medical bills and emotional distress.
