Megan Thee Stallion is once again getting love online after a fan shared a heartfelt story about the rapper allegedly helping her during one of the most difficult moments of her life.
The conversation started on Threads when a woman posted that Megan once sent her $250 through Venmo while she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. According to the fan, the money was meant to help her buy groceries during that challenging period.
“Megan Thee Stallion once Venmo’d me $250 for groceries during chemotherapy so they could never make me hate her,” the woman wrote in the viral post.
The message quickly spread across social media, with thousands of people reposting it and praising the Houston rapper for what many described as a genuine act of kindness. As the post gained attention, users began sharing their thoughts about Megan’s reputation for showing love to fans behind the scenes.
One commenter admitted, “I know nothing about her, but that’s cool af,” leading the original poster to reveal that Megan allegedly helped many other people that same day as well.
“She actually venmo’d like 100 people that day, really just out of the goodness of her heart,” the woman claimed.
Another user referred to Megan as “a saint,” and the fan responded, “She truly has a good heart.”
For many longtime supporters, the story sounded completely believable because Megan has publicly stepped in to help fans before. Back in 2021, the Grammy-winning rapper helped cover funeral expenses for one of her supporters after the fan unexpectedly passed away.

At the time, a Twitter user named Selena Chichis reached out to Megan online to share the news that her best friend and fellow “Hottie,” Shaniah, had died unexpectedly. According to the tweets, Shaniah’s family was struggling financially and had launched a GoFundMe campaign to help pay funeral costs.
“Meg, we lost a hottie,” the fan tweeted at the time. “Our best friend passed away unexpectedly. They absolutely loved you. Listening to your songs was something we did every time we were together.”
The fan explained that the fundraiser was only halfway to its goal when Megan personally responded by asking, “How much do y’all need?”
After learning the family still needed about $8,000, Megan reportedly donated $8,155 under her real name, Megan Pete. She also reposted the GoFundMe campaign on social media to help bring more attention to it.
With Megan’s contribution and signal boost, the fundraiser eventually surpassed its $16,000 target, closing with more than $16,000 raised for the family.
Over the years, Megan has built a reputation for directly interacting with supporters online, often surprising fans with encouragement, financial help, and personal responses during difficult moments. Although she has not publicly addressed the latest viral Threads post, the story has only added to the growing number of fans who say the rapper’s generosity speaks for itself.
