Draya Michele and NBA star Jalen Green just introduced their baby girl to the world, and the name “Lyght Green” is lighting up timelines everywhere.

After keeping their baby girl’s identity under wraps for nearly a year, the NBA star and model/entrepreneur finally introduced their daughter to the world in a Father’s Day tribute that was equal parts heartwarming and high fashion.

In a carousel of Instagram photos, Jalen posed proudly with baby Lyght, both dressed head-to-toe in matching Burberry. Yes, the toddler was already standing tall, holding her balance like a pro and rocking designer like it was just another Tuesday.

“Fatherhood but make it fashion @burberry dad #ad.”

Draya joined in the reveal by reposting the photos to her Instagram Stories with a short and sweet note: “My daughter @lyghtgreen says hello.” And with that, baby Lyght officially entered the chat.

Born on May 12, 2024, Mother’s Day, no less, Lyght’s arrival carried deep emotional weight for Draya, who lost her own father on Mother’s Day in 2021. “She helped create new memories,” Draya previously shared. What was once a day of pain has become a symbol of healing and fresh beginnings.

Since her birth, Draya and Jalen have kept things low-key. No face reveals. No overexposure. Just a few subtle posts and glimpses here and there. But this weekend’s reveal marked a shift, one where they seemed ready to share more while still guarding what matters most.

Of course, as with anything celebrity-related, the internet had opinions.

Not about the Burberry fits. Not about how adorable Lyght looked. But that name.

Yes, her full name is Lyght Green. And as soon as followers saw it, social media did what it always does—reacted.

“Lyght as in LIGHT GREEN? The color of matcha?”

“Please remember we are naming people and not toys or animals.”

“Should’ve just called her Mint.”

“The baby’s name being, Lyght Green is so hilarious to me. I’m sorry.”

“Lawd, I just know they didn’t name that baby light green 🤦🏽‍♀️”

To be fair, celebrity baby names have been getting more… expressive lately. From Apple and X Æ A-12 to RZA and Malibu Barbie, creative naming is kind of the thing now. And Lyght, spelled with a “y” for extra flair, is already trending.

Welcome to the spotlight, Lyght. You’re shining already.
