Jasmin Brown and Cam Newton’s family just welcomed a new member! The former NFL quarterback and his girlfriend, comedian Jasmin Brown, are now proud parents of their second child together, bringing Cam’s total to nine kids.
The announcement came during an upcoming episode of The Tamron Hall Show, where Cam casually shared the news in the middle of a chat. When Tamron inquired if they were expecting their ninth baby, Cam quickly corrected her with a smile, saying, “Oh, he’s already here,” which drew applause from the audience.
As of now, neither Cam nor Jasmin has revealed the baby’s name or any photos, as they’ve kept details under wraps on social media. Fans have been eagerly anticipating this moment ever since Jasmin showcased her baby bump back in May with a sweet Mother’s Day photoshoot. Wearing an open white robe, she lovingly cradled her bump and captioned the photo, “Feeling ALL the love, kicks, and elbows. Cheers to our growing tribe.”
This new addition is the couple’s second child; they also have a daughter born in March 2024. Cam and Jasmin first publicly appeared together at Milan Fashion Week in 2022, and they have maintained a joyful presence ever since, often seen in matching outfits and sharing smiles.
For Cam, this new baby brings the total to nine children. The 35-year-old shares four kids: sons Chosen, Camidas, and Cashmere, along with daughter Sovereign-Dior, with his ex-girlfriend Kia Proctor. He’s also actively involved in raising Kia’s older daughter, Shakira, as well as two more kids from his relationship with model LaReina Shaw: son Caesar and Shaw’s son, Jaden, from a previous relationship.
Reactions from fans online are mixed as usual. Some are congratulating Cam on his expanding family, while others jokingly note that he might be “starting his own football team.”
