But according to a close confidant, Jodie Turner-Smith isn’t giving her ex-husband Joshua Jackson’s dating life any attention.
Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Jackson after almost four years of marriage in October.
The British model cited “irreconcilable differences” in the legal documents. She also requested joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, while relinquishing spousal support.
According to a source who spoke to People, “She decided that she is done. It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy. They will co-parent their daughter. They want her to continue to thrive.”
After his divorce, Jackson has been linked to actress Lupita Nyong’o, who also broke up with TV personality Selema Masekela on social media.
Lupita penned a lengthy breakup message the same day and the first time she was captured at a concert with Jackson and some friends.
“At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust.
“I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception,” she wrote.
A few days ago, paparazzi captured the Oscar-winner and the Canadian actor grocery shopping in Los Angeles.
In photos, Lupita Nyong’o appeared to duck out of view unsuccessfully when arriving at a grocery store in Jackson’s Tesla.
A source reported to Entertainment Tonight that Jodie Turner-Smith is focusing on her work and “being the best mom she can be” instead of who her ex may or may not be shagging.
“Jodie isn’t giving Joshua’s dating life too much attention. She’s doing great and has been surrounding herself with people who are loyal and love her. She has always had a positive, fun energy and is continuing to. She’s focused on work and being the best mom she can be,” the confidant disclosed.
During an interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers in 2021, Jodie revealed how a one-night stand with Joshua Jackson evolved into a “three-year one-night stand” plus marriage.
