LeToya Luckett is reveling in the glow of her recent marriage to Taleo Cole. However, Tommicus Walker, her second ex-husband, appears to have made a subtle dig at the star’s marital history.
Walker and Luckett were married from 2017 until 2021 and have two children, Gianna and Tysun.
The former couple first met at a friend’s wedding in 2010. According to Married Biography, Walker proposed to Luckett in August 2017. On December 10, 2017, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Vila Antonia mansion in Texas Hill Country.
Luckett filed for divorce from Walker after more than three years of marriage. She cited ongoing issues and rumors of infidelity that arose during her pregnancy in 2020.
Now, the singer’s past seems to be casting a shadow on her present happiness, as the embattled Tommicus Walker runs commentary on the internet.
The first jab came on Sunday when the entrepreneur posted a video of himself enjoying a drink while relaxing on a yacht. In the clip, Walker showed what appeared to be the Miami skyline.
“You simply smile through it all when you know you’re tremendously blessed,” he captioned the post.
He also went on Instagram stories to share a picture of Tom Brady sporting three rings with the caption: “3 in 7 years… DYNASTY.”
While Walker did not explicitly mention Luckett or her new marriage in her post, it sparked a flurry of online discussions and opinions.
Some fans defended Luckett, claiming everyone deserves happiness and a second, third, or even fourth chance at love. Others have taken a more neutral stance, implying that the situation is private between the ex-spouses.
Following Walker’s post, many people pointed out how he publicly lobbied Luckett to accept him back after their breakup.
The singer-actress briefly married Rob Hill Sr. in 2016 and married Walker before her most recent marriage to Coles.
