In a heartbreaking turn of events, Tonyetta Loveless, a 42-year-old mother of four, has been found dead a day after celebrating her birthday on Nov. 28.
She was found dead in her apartment at the Ivy Apartments on Jones Creek Rd in Baton Rouge.
Her family is now grappling with the loss and seeking justice as authorities issue a warrant for her boyfriend, Andre Weatherspoon, in connection with her death.
Loveless’ father discovered her lifeless body when he went to check on her after she failed to respond to calls from him and her daughter, Trinia Loveless.
Trinia described her mother as an amazing and caring woman, expressing the deep void her loss has left in their lives.
The tragedy unfolded on the morning of November 29, following an alleged argument between Loveless and Weatherspoon in the apartment complex’s parking lot the previous night.
Witnesses reported seeing Weatherspoon brandishing a gun, leading to concerns about the nature of the dispute.
Weatherspoon, with a history of arrests for charges including domestic abuse battery and aggravated second-degree battery, is now the subject of a battery of a dating partner charge and is sought for questioning in connection with Loveless’ death.
