The company specializes in electric vehicle charger and LED lighting manufacturing, energy efficiency, and energy management services, as well as providing environmental service solutions for municipal, commercial, and industrial clients.
Before founding Dunamis, King served as the Vice President and General Counsel of J King Solar Technologies, LLC, a solar energy integration firm.
Her extensive legal background, with 18 years of experience as a corporate and real estate attorney, has been instrumental in guiding Dunamis to success.
Under her leadership, Dunamis has experienced remarkable growth, becoming a multi-million dollar corporation with over 150 employees.
King’s vision and determination have propelled the company to new heights, setting a precedent for diversity and innovation in the green energy sector.
A native of Detroit, King earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School.
She is also a graduate of the Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth program “Building a High Performing Minority Business,” further demonstrating her commitment to excellence and leadership.
In addition to her professional achievements, King is deeply involved in charitable initiatives and community advocacy.
For over 25 years, she has been dedicated to making a positive impact in her community. She served as the event organizer for the Annual Detroit Red Carpet Backyard Barbecue for the Homeless & Hungry, which fed over 5,000 Detroit citizens annually.
Furthermore, she currently serves as the Board Vice President of the National Business League and as the Board Chairperson for Abayomi Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit youth servicing organization. Additionally, she is a board member of The Yunion, a nonprofit youth mentoring organization.
