24-year-old Cori Broadus took to social media to reveal she has had a stroke.
On her Instagram story, Cori Broadus revealed her medical emergency on Thursday, January 18.
She shared photographs from a hospital bed as she disclosed her diagnosis as having suffered a stroke in hospital.
Last year September, the only daughter of Snoop Dogg revealed her health crisis.
Cori Broadus was diagnosed with lupus at age 6 and has since been struggling to find herself while dealing with the autoimmune disease.
She opened up about how her overall health has benefited from lifestyle changes she’s made to manage her condition.
From taking 10 to 12 pills every single day, Broadus revealed that she went “all-natural”, taking a more holistic approach to her health.
“I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago. I’m just doing everything natural. All types of herbs, sea moss, teas,” Cori Broadus told PEOPLE. “I started working out, drinking lots of water. So, now I think my body’s like, okay, this is the new program, and she’s getting used to it.”
Despite the progress, the 24-year-old entrepreneur shared images from a hospital room this dawn in a pink pajama hoodie over a medical mask.
“I had a severe stroke this am. I started breaking down crying when they told me.
“‘I’m only 24. What did I do in my past to deserve all of this?” she wrote across the photo.
Cori Broadus is the only daughter and third child of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus. She is a serial entrepreneur, dabbling in beauty products like lip gloss and shimmery body oils through her company, Choc Factory.
In 2022, she collaborated with her father and mother to start a new family business. The Broadus Collection is a fashionable luxury scarves line inspired by Cori’s Lupus diagnosis.
The family’s baby girl is also a singer, performing under the alias Choc.
We wish her a speedy recovery and sound health!
