Rihanna Backs ‘RHONY’s Leah McSweeney Amid Feud With Ramona Singer

Rihanna is a megastar and often hops on social media to back some important causes.

This week, it seems she felt “Real Housewives of New York” star Leah McSweeney was in need of some backup following her recent altercation with fellow cast member Ramona Singer.

On Tuesday night’s “Real Housewives of New York,” Ramona scornfully remarked that she would promote Leah’s brand, mistakenly calling Married to the Mob “Leah Mob” or “Mob, Something.”

Leah then replied, “You’re not exactly my demographic, so it’s all good. I already have Rihanna wearing my s–t, I don’t need you wearing my s–t.”

And she’s not lying.

It did not take Rihanna long to post a selfie of herself wearing Married to the Mob’s “Bitch Mob” T-shirt. “What was said @ramonasinger ? 😂 #RHONY,” Rihanna captioned the post of her rocking the $30 tee.

Leah then reposted Riri’s clap back, “Yup @badgalriri is a woman who supports women @marriedtothemobny And she’s also watching and enjoying #RHONY Season 13 😭❤️‍🔥,” she wrote.

Rihanna’s cosign may just be the thing the show needs to boost ratings. This season, viewers have been tuning out amid complaints about the show’s “wokeness.”

Fans blamed Eboni K. Williams for her discussions surrounding race in America and for detailing her experiences as a Black woman. She is unapologetic about her “preaching,” and says she will continue to be herself.

Eboni is the show’s first Black Housewife.

Bravo recently issued a statement supporting Eboni’s input on the show.

“Bravo invited Eboni K. Williams as the first Black woman to join the cast of The Real Housewives of New York to be her authentic self, which has brought a new perspective to the show,” the network’s statement reads. “We support Eboni in expressing her views, and we are proud that the show is addressing these important and relevant issues.”
