Pinky Cole Hayes, the founder of the renowned Slutty Vegan restaurant chain, is set to join Revolt as its first-ever Creative Visionary in Residence.
The media platform announced this significant addition on July 23, highlighting Cole Hayes’ impressive track record in building successful brands and her commitment to impactful community initiatives.
Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating:
“We’re excited to welcome Pinky Cole Hayes as the inaugural REVOLT Creative Visionary in Residence, where she will bring her proven expertise as both a world-class innovator and operator to imagine new ways the brand can empower creators while advancing the culture. Pinky has always been committed to making a positive impact on Black communities and building successful brands in unconventional spaces, which perfectly aligns with our values and makes us look forward to the transformative work we’re doing together.”
As Creative Visionary in Residence, Cole Hayes will spearhead various initiatives and creative projects designed to engage and uplift the community. This role will leverage her experience and innovative approach to continue pushing boundaries and inspiring change within the cultural landscape.
“I’m very excited to join REVOLT as the first Creative Visionary in Residence,” said Cole Hayes, who is 36. “As someone deeply committed to challenging norms and amplifying Black voices, this is an incredible opportunity to collaborate with like-minded creatives and bring dynamic projects to life. Together, we will continue pushing boundaries, inspiring change, and shaping the cultural landscape for generations to come.”
The Creative Visionary in Residence program at Revolt aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the creative community.
Throughout the year, Revolt plans to partner with 1-2 creators to develop and cultivate ideas that reflect the diverse voices and experiences within the culture, as noted in a company press release.
Revolt’s new strategic direction comes amid a period of restructuring following the departure of its founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who stepped away due to numerous sexual assault allegations.
The residence program is a key part of the media entity’s effort to re-establish itself and bring fresh, creative perspectives to the forefront.
