A tragic confrontation in Sanford, Florida, turned deadly on Nov. 5, when photographer Lauren Ashley Martin was fatally shot after a heated argument over photos.

The dispute escalated outside a home, culminating in Martin’s death, which was horrifyingly streamed live on social media.

Savon Chantay Tyler, 35, was arrested and charged with murder after allegedly shooting Martin during the altercation. The incident was captured on Facebook Live by Tyler’s girlfriend, Lakevia Davonna Pringle, who encouraged Tyler during the violent confrontation, according to the Sanford Police Department.

Police stated that Martin and Tyler had been feuding over photographs taken by Martin, a conflict that had played out online for some time before spilling into the streets.

The situation escalated quickly when Martin arrived at Tyler’s home, where the argument intensified. In the disturbing livestream footage, Pringle can be heard urging Tyler to continue the altercation.

As the confrontation unfolded, Tyler allegedly grabbed a gun and shot Martin after the victim momentarily gained control of a baseball bat, according to police.

Martin’s family described her as a devoted mother of three, affectionately known as “Bubbles.” They are now facing the devastation of her sudden death, which they have called a “tragic loss.”

A GoFundMe has been set up to support her children and funeral costs.

As of now, Tyler remains in custody without bond, having pleaded not guilty to premeditated murder charges. Meanwhile, Pringle, who has been charged with first-degree premeditated homicide for her role in the livestreaming, is still at large.

Authorities have issued a warrant for her arrest and are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Investigators are continuing to search for Pringle and seek any leads that could bring further clarity to the events leading to Martin’s tragic death.
