Porsha Williams scores another victory against her ex-husband, Simon Guobadia, in their ongoing divorce battle.

The drama continues to unfold in the world of reality TV, and this time, Porsha Williams is walking away with a win. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star has reportedly scored a major legal win against Simon Guobadia.

This latest development comes amid ongoing legal disputes between the reality star and the businessman, both of whom have made headlines for their high-profile relationship and subsequent split. And now the court’s decision seems to signal a turning point in Williams’ favor.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, a Georgia court in Fulton County has granted Williams “temporary, sole, and exclusive possession, use, and occupancy” of the residence the former couple once shared.

In March, the Nigerian businessman sent a cease-and-desist letter to True Leisure, the manufacturing firm behind the Bravo reality collection, demanding it stop filming at his home from returning castmember Porsha Williams during his divorce.

According to leaked legal documents, Guobadia contested that he is the sole owner of his Georgia home and thus “does not consent to the release, disclosure, or publication of any photograph of the property, nor does he consent to the taping, filming, or recording of the property, including any aspects of any activity in or about the property.”

The 59-year-old attached a copy of the deed as evidence that his ex-wife, Porsha Williams, does not own a stake in the nearly $7 million home he purchased in November 2021.

“Failure to comply with the requests herein will result in Mr. Guobadia taking legal action accordingly,” the request continued.

Subsequently, Porsha Williams filed an emergency order seeking the right to film in the home as it is “vital to her ability to sustain her income and employment.”

Now, a judge has awarded temporary exclusive possession of their shared home to the 43-year-old reality star and has provided her the “unrestricted right to film and produce television, film, or social media” within the residence, based on documents acquired by PEOPLE.

The docs also stated that Guobadia, 60, shall “execute any and all documents necessary to facilitate.”
