A heated moment between YouTuber Brooklyn Frost and her mother had set social media ablaze, dividing fans over whether the 19-year-old star crossed a line when she cursed at her mom for snatching food from her hands during a live stream.
The now-viral clip shows the young influencer yelling at her mother after she playfully snatched food from her hand.
In the video, Brooklyn’s mother jokingly grabs her food mid-bite, prompting Brooklyn to immediately snap:
“Bro, on God, don’t fking do that, bro.”**
Her mom, clearly caught off guard, responded: “I was kidding.”
But Brooklyn wasn’t having it. “Don’t snatch my food, though. That was disrespectful.”
Even after her mom explained it was for content, “I was literally clip farming,” Brooklyn doubled down, telling her mom not to “play like that” again.
“I’m not gonna lie. They are about to cancel Brooklyn again… I don’t care, though,” she added.
As expected, social media lit up. Some viewers slammed Brooklyn for cursing at her mother, calling it disrespectful and uncalled for.
“She wrong for cursing at her mama. That’s the only issue. Cuz why would you snatch somebody’s food out of their hand?! Disrespectful af,” one user tweeted.
Another wrote: “Idc how y’all look at this. Brooklyn shouldn’t be cursing at her mom. And it’s the fact that she snatched it back and said don’t f**king touch my food… That hurt her mom’s feelings.”
Others, however, came to Brooklyn’s defense, arguing that she was simply asserting a boundary and reacting to what she felt was a violation of personal space, regardless of the relationship.
“Y’all think because someone birthed you, they get to disrespect you. Brooklyn did nothing wrong,” one supporter said.
“She’s getting canceled for setting a boundary? She definitely could’ve been more calm about it, but people need to realize y’all let your parents say & do whatever they want because they’re ‘the parent.'”
Brooklyn has been in the public eye since her early teens, first appearing on her brother Deshae Frost’s popular YouTube channel. She quickly became a fan favorite for her humor and relatability, eventually launching her own platform in 2019. Her content ranges from beauty and fashion to pranks and vlogs, giving fans a front-row seat to her unfiltered life. She’s also a budding musician, often sharing clips of herself in the studio as she pursues her artistic passions.
As for whether she’ll actually be canceled? Time will tell.
