Nicki Minaj set Twitter ablaze on Tuesday with shocking claims that Jay-Z owes her between $100 million and $ 200 million. And she’s ready to collect with interest.
Nicki Minaj just hit “post” and set the internet ablaze, again.
On Tuesday, the rap queen went on a fiery social media spree, taking direct aim at none other than Jay-Z. According to Nicki, Hov has a “karmic debt” that’s long overdue… and we’re talking somewhere between $100 million and $200 million.
The Pink Friday icon is accusing the billionaire rap mogul of owing her a massive bag, and she’s not letting it slide. In a tweet that had Barbz clutching their pearls and hip-hop Twitter spiraling, Nicki wrote:
“We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest. You’re still in my TOP 5 tho. Let’s get it n***a. And anyone still calling him Hov will answer to God for the blasphemy.”
She didn’t stop there.

Nicki followed up with a major flex that if (or when) she gets her coins, she plans to put her fans through college. The “Moment 4 Life” rapper is giving back to the Barbz in a big way via her Student of the Game charity.
“I’m going to use some of the money #JayZ owes me to send some of my Barbz to college, pay their school fees & student loans via my #StudentOfTheGame charity,” she wrote.
But where is this $200 million figure coming from?
According to fans who’ve been keeping tabs, this isn’t just about unpaid love or industry shade. The beef allegedly goes back to Tidal, Jay-Z’s now-sold music streaming company. Minaj, along with artists like Rihanna and J. Cole, were reportedly early stakeholders when the company launched in 2021. However, when Jay sold the company to Square (owned by Jack Dorsey) for around $300 million, Nicki claims she was shortchanged and only offered a $1 million payout.
Her tweets seem to be reopening old wounds, and with them, stirring up attention around another unresolved topic involving Jay-Z: a paternity dispute with a man named Raymir Satterthwaite. While that’s a separate issue, fans are noticing the timing and questioning if Minaj is intentionally reigniting long-buried tension.
Jay-Z, for his part, has remained silent. No official comment has been made by him or his representatives at Roc Nation.
