The Cardi B, Stefon Diggs, and Offset triangle just got a lot messier. The internet is buzzing after Offset seemed to react to reports that Cardi and Stefon’s newborn son may legally be his under Georgia state law.
And if that wasn’t chaotic enough, he allegedly wants to name the baby, even telling Stefon to “step aside.”
Yes, you read that right.
Hours after news broke that Cardi B had given birth to her baby boy with Stefon Diggs, the Migos rapper hopped online like he had something to get off his chest. And then he dipped.
But the internet never misses a screenshot.
The drama exploded after Offset posted and deleted a message that had social media in a chokehold. According to screenshots that circulated on Instagram and X, Offset wrote, “My kid lol.”

What set everything on fire is the legal twist. Under Georgia state law, a woman’s husband is presumed to be the father of any child born during the marriage. No matter the situation. And because Cardi and Offset are still legally married, Offset may actually be considered the baby’s legal father until proven otherwise.

More screenshots allegedly from the rapper’s social media handle claim, “I got a name for my kid. Keep your Spanish sh!t to yourself.”
Cardi B and Offset have been on rocky ground for years, but Cardi filing for divorce again earlier this year made it clear things were unraveling. She’s been vocal about covering most of their kids’ expenses and says he’s been absent more than present.
Cardi and Offset share three children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and little Blossom, 1. Offset also has three children from previous relationships.
Earlier this month, Cardi and Stefon welcomed their baby boy quietly. The two went public with their relationship back in May, confirming months of speculation and a few too many spicy paparazzi photos.
The new baby’s arrival should’ve been a happy moment. Instead? Offset’s alleged comments poured gasoline on everything.
