If you didn’t believe Blac Chyna when she said she was currently going through a life-changing life journey to rebrand her image, you may believe her now after she revealed in a recent interview that she no longer wants to be referred to as “Blac Chyna” but as her birth name: Angela White.

The model and reality TV star has been quite vocal over the past couple of weeks about the transition taking place in her life. First, she announced to her fans that she was deactivating her OnlyFans page, then months later, she detailed the process of undergoing a breast and butt reduction to look more “natural.”

Most recently, the 34-year-old Washington, D.C. native opened up to Forbes about wanting to reclaim the name she was born with.

“[My name] was given to me by birth. Mostly, it’s just me getting back to myself because, you know, being in the entertainment field, everybody always calls me like, ‘Hey, Blac Chyna — Chyna.'”

She continued: “Nobody ever really calls me Angela. So sometimes I would forget who I am because it’s always about the brand, brand, brand, but not about the person.”

Many fans took to Twitter to support the Rob & Chyna star.

“I feel like blac chyna is having a spiritual awakening and I’m so happy for her. May she receive all the blessings and peace,” one fan wrote.

“I’m loving the rebrand of blac chyna, she has my support. I’m here for anyone that wants to be a better them. It’s never too late,” wrote another.

But not everyone has been supportive of Blac Chyna’s “spiritual awakening,” including her mother, Tokyo Toni, who said in a recent video that the people who supported her daughter’s decision were “some clowns.”

“Blac Chyna, that’s so sweet. You’re taking your butt shots out your face. Bitch. What? Really,” Toni said in the video. “Oh, we’re so proud of you to do that. Y’all some clowns.”

Her comments caused Blac Chyna fans to chime in with their thoughts, mostly calling her mother toxic, among other things.

“Something aint right with moms,” one commenter wrote.

“It’s heartbreaking to see her mom be her biggest hater online. I pray for healing for both,” another user commented.

“Too many toxic, dysfunctional mothers going viral… smh y’all know the pentagon confirmed a mothership in our solar system, the banks are crashing, and we’re on the brink of WW3?” wrote another.

“Prime example of canceling toxic family members is just fine for your sanity,” another fan wrote.

Blac Chyna has been open about cosmetic procedures she’s done in the past and recently took to Instagram to share that she was currently preparing to have her breasts and butt reduced as part of a “life-changing journey.”

The former stripper began the post detailing how doctors were going to remove her “a*s shots” while educating her 16 million followers about the difference between a BBL (Brazilian butt lift) and silicone injections. The latter, she said, is a decision she regrets.

“I just want all the ladies out there to know, do not get silicone shots because you can get sick, you can die, have complications and all this other crazy stuff,” Chyna said, adding that she first got the shots when she was 19.

She further added that she hopes the reduction of her chest and derriere will help take her to the “next level” and wants to change her “ways.”

The social media influencer revealed that the surgery on her breasts will be the fifth time she’s had work done on them. She also wants to retire her long claw-like fingernails because she’s “stepping into a different way.”

Following the procedure, Chyna shared video of her wrapped up in bandages and said that the procedure took nine hours when it was only supposed to take four.

“Whatever that silicone mass, whatever that was that was in my buttocks, it kept clogging the machine and breaking,” she said.

“You all have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that,” she wrote in the caption to the video.

News of Blac Chyna’s procedure comes just months after she was announcing that she was retiring from OnlyFans for the sake of her son, King Cairo, 10, and daughter, Dream, 6.

“I’m just changing everything about me,” Chyna told Jason Lee in a recent interview. “It’s a dead end. All that stuff is a dead end, and I know that I’m worth way more than that.”

She added: “At a certain age, [children] see and gravitate to everything.”
