Ciara and Russell Wilson are showing the world that, after nine years of marriage, their love still looks like a fairytale, and this time, the backdrop is Spain.
The Grammy-winning singer and NFL superstar celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary with a luxurious, love-filled vacation across the Mediterranean, and fans are swooning. Ciara, 39, shared a carousel of dreamy vacation flicks on Instagram, giving us a glimpse into their romantic adventures. Her caption was simple but swoon-worthy: “Spain, Actually.”
She added, “Thank you, my love @dangerusswilson, for planning the best anniversary trip I could’ve asked for.” And from the photos alone, it’s clear this wasn’t your average baecation.
The couple kicked things off yacht-side with snuggly selfies, wide smiles, and ocean views for days. One video shows them arriving at what appeared to be a private flamenco performance, being serenaded by a dancer under Spanish skies. Another shows them living it up, eating authentic paella like true locals. Ciara even hopped on a jet ski for some adventure, while Russell took a dip in the glistening Mediterranean waters.
But the romance didn’t stop at scenery and seafood. Wilson, 36, made hearts melt with a touching tribute to his wife on social media. The Denver Broncos quarterback shared a sweet montage of their moments together, writing:

Ciara and Russell’s story began back in March 2015, when they met at a college basketball game in Wisconsin. The connection was instant. By March 2016, they were engaged during a surprise vacation. Then in July 2016, the two tied the knot in a secret, castle-set ceremony in England’s Peckforton Castle.
