Willow Smith made her father Will Smith proud after she successfully performed for the first time at Coachella Sunday.

In a recent Instagram post, the 54-year-old father of three is seen in a crowd as he jams along to his daughter’s latest single Maybe It’s My Fault.

“WILLOWCHELLA!!” he wrote in the post’s caption several days after her performance. “I can’t stop crying!”

In response, Willow commented by posting three heart emojis. The 22-year-old Los Angeles native is scheduled to appear again at the festival on April 23.

During her set, her older brother, Jaden Smith –  a star in his own right – joined his sister, calling her an “amazing artist” while on stage. The pair then went on to perform their collaboration single Summertime in Paris. While on stage, Jaden wore a shirt that wrote “Willow’s Brother” emblazoned across it.

Last October, Willow released her fifth studio album entitled Coping Mechanism. It comes on the heels of her widely-successful hit, Whip My Hair, which she debuted when she was 9.

The singer admitted that after the hit song was released she later regretted it, but came to the realization that her music hasn’t changed much since she first began in the entertainment industry.

“I realized that the content in my songs has always been centered around self-love and the universe and our humanity’s divine path, about expressing oneself and being unapologetic,” she told L’Officiel in 2021

Born Willow Camille Reign Smith, the actress and singer has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including a Young Artist Award, an NAACP Image Award, and a BET Award. She has also received nominations for two Daytime Emmy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

In 2007, she made her acting debut in I Am Legend, starring her father. She would later appear in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. She began her musical career with the platinum-certified single Whip My Hair, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
